We are back! and we are slow! working on that…

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

After our short downtime (which caught some of you by surprise) we are back. We will post about how the move went and all the technical details tomorrow, let’s get to the main feature right away:

A brand new what the movie! All the cool stuff from the old site, plus all the neat features we always wanted plus a dash of social networking and that’s about it.

To get to know the details of the new site you really should check out our Help-Page

Also: If you experience any bugs, make sure to report them via the Contact-Page. The site might also be slow over the next few days but we will work on that.

And for the future: We still have plenty of new ideas which we will realize in the future. If you have one too, tell us in the Suggestion-Forum.

We are sorry for all the inconvenience the site may still cause. Our baby is still a bit rough around the edges.

UPDATE
We are still experiencing major speed problems. Sorry for that. We’re working on it.

Hey there beta testers

So far thanks for all your input! It is very appreciated :) Keep the bugs coming.. Our bugtracker is still very hungry.

I’m currently busy working on various projects for my studies, but I’ll hit hard on WTM next week. A release in late may or very early June is still realistic. Not only to please the crowd, but we intend to submit the site to various contests :) If you are aware of any contests, WTM might have a chance to compete in, please let us know.

PS: On a totally unrelated sidenote: Tliff and me have finally decided on a corporate letter case. Is it “What the Movie”, “What The Movie”, “what the Movie” or “Whatthemovie”. The answer is no :)

There is one simple rule, it’s either all uppercase or all lowercase. “WTM”, “wtm”, “WHAT THE MOVIE” or “what the movie”. You may push the words together in special occasions such as filenaming.
